SMS Ostfriesland - Photos of Weapons
Various images of the main battery twin turrets, each mounting two 305mm (12")/50 caliber guns.
In order to get at the turret machinery the armored roof of "B" Turret was removed. These photos nicely show the bolt pattern holding the plates in place. The recesses holding the bolts are normally covered and painted over.
Secondary weapons are 150mm (5.9")/45 caliber guns in armored casements.
